Do I have to be a certain age to apply?

​

To qualify for the Marketing Session, you must be a female and over the age of 20.  For Marketing Sessions, our goal is to show a variety of women in our marketing and portfolio.  We may ask for a specific demographic for a vision we have in mind but we do not discriminate so anyone over the age of 20 is welcomed to apply.

Will I be able to see the images? 

​

Yes! We have a "No Wait" policy which means we will show you your full digital gallery in as little as 20 minutes after we are done shooting. Typically, our clients will get changed, check their phone and grab a snack and by the time they are done...so is their gallery of images!  We love this policy because we want our clients to see how beautiful they are right now and not wondering if they look great because we manipulated their bodies with editing and retouching. You can expect to see between 60-100 images during your viewing appointment.

You're too far away, do you travel?

​

We get a LOT of  Beauties visiting our studio from a 3-4 hours travel radius so we have adjusted our entire process to cater to our out of town clients.  Our whole Sheer Beauty Experience is done in a few hours and we will even ship your order right to your door so you only need to make the trip, coordinate schedules and take time off from your life one time. We do everything same day from the photo session to ordering your gorgeous album.

I don't own any lingerie! Do I need to bring my own outfits?

​

We provide extensive education before your session including our popular "Shop Your Closet Guide" to help you pick out the perfect wardrobe of outfits to choose from for your session. We also send information on where to find and buy great lingerie outfits. Finally, we also have a variety of shoes, outfits and accessories on hand in the Studio Closet. We are just an email, call or text message away if you need wardrobe assistance.

How long does the appointment take?

 

We reserve about 60 minutes for shooting and wardrobe changes.  We have had clients who have done their session in 35 minutes and others who take 90 minutes for their shoot so we recommend setting aside the entire day for yourself so you do not feel rushed. We take into consideration each client's needs when shooting and we cater to the timeline that would be most beneficial for your boudoir experience.  Some of our clients treat the session as a fun experience and do not require as much time.  Others are searching for a more transformative experience and need to take more time to work through some self image blocks.  Either choice is WONDERFUL and we are here to meet our clients where they are and guide them through this process.

Are digital files included?

​

With all of our sessions, digital files are not included in the session fee because we want to ensure that you have the most amazing experience possible and do not pre-pay for any image you do not love.  You are not obligated to purchase but I do make it available because all of my past models have loved their images so much they wanted to take some home. The $300 session fee is waived as our way of saying "THANK YOU" for sharing your images for this Marketing Session.

Do you offer payment plans? 

​

Yes, we have a number of payment plan options available upon request to help fit this experience into most budgets.

Do I have to share my images?

​

We would never force anyone to share their images if they are not comfortable with signing a marketing release. The Marketing Session that you applied for is a valuable experience but we are waiving the session fee in exchange for your model release and sharing your images/story for advertising and marketing purposes.  If you choose not to share your images, we can honor your privacy request by applying a session fee to your appointment and keeping your gallery 100% private.

How will I know if I was selected?

​

We will be sending you the results by email so keep an eye on your inbox. If you have not heard from us directly after applying, check your spam or promotions box and add our email to your contacts. {sheerlacephotography@gmail.com} Once we narrow our selection down to a few top choices (which is an extremely difficult task because we totally want to shoot with everyone!) we will send you a calendar to choose a date for a phone consultation.  During this call, Lacey will ask you a few more questions to get to know you better, explain how our process works to ensure you are a good fit for the Marketing Session and then answer any questions you might have.

Do you ever shoot on the weekends?

​

At this time, we are unable to get our entire team together for weekend availability so our shoot days are Monday-Thursday.  Our past clients have told us how much fun it was to take a day off work and spend it on themselves for a change instead of taking care of everyone else in their life.  Clients have also said they were doing this session as a surprise for their significant other and scheduling it during their regular work hours made it easier to keep the surprise because their significant other thought they were at work.

Can I do my own hair and makeup?

​

The Sheer Beauty Makeover is not included with our Marketing Sessions. You are welcome to come with a bare face, do your own hair and makeup or hire your own Hair and Makeup Artist prior to your session.  Please let us know if you would like recommendations for our preferred Hair and Makeup Artists.

If I am chosen but am unable to do the session, can I reschedule or gift it to someone else?

​

Due to the incredible nature and the demand for this opportunity, Marketing Sessions cannot be rescheduled for any reason.  If a Marketing Session needs to be canceled, we will pass this opportunity down the list of applicants who were not chosen.  If you need to cancel your Marketing Session less than 7 days prior to your appointment, you will be ineligible for being selected for future Marketing Sessions.
